MIKE CASE - HEAD COACH

Coach Case has a successful 9-year high school baseball coaching career.  His high school baseball coach career started in 2016 at Troy High School.  He served as an assistant coach for two years during which time they won league both years.  He then transitioned to Yorba Linda High School where he served another 6 years as an assistant coach.  Coach Case was excited to take on the Head Coach role in 2022-23 and is very proud to have led the team along with his coaching staff to win the league title for the first time in school history.  His group of talented players and coaches had a heart-breaking loss in the semi-finals.  Coach Case played high school baseball at Troy high school where they won a CIF championship with fellow coach, Chris Robinson as his teammate. His collegian career included playing for both Loyola Marymount and Long Beach State. The highlight of his college career was making it to the College World Series in 1991 and being named 1st team All Big West. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies and played A-AAA from 1992-1995. Coach Case resides in Yorba Linda with his wife Kim and their 3 children McKenna, Austin and Kailyn.

CHRIS ROBINSON - ASSISTANT COACH - PITCHING

Coach (Toph) Robinson is going into his 14th year of coaching baseball at the high school level and his 6th year at Yorba Linda where he  trains and mentors our players, offering professional and quality guidance throughout the season . Back in 2010, he was the varsity pitching coach at Santa Margarita High School.  He then later coached at Troy High School which is his Alma mater.  Coach Robinson played baseball at Troy High School where they won a CIF Championship in 1987, playing with fellow coach, Mike Case. After high school, Toph pitched for the CSUF Titans and went to the College World Series twice over his four years and was named 1st team all Big West his senior year.  He then played in the California Angels minor league system for two years. He currently resides in Yorba Linda with his wife Wendy and his two boys Dane and Cole.

AUSTIN LOGAS - ASSISTANT COACH - HITTING/INFIELD

Coach Logas has coached in the Yorba Linda High School baseball program for each of the last 10 seasons. A product of Chapman University and local El Dorado High School, Coach Logas brings energy and passion each day he’s on the field. “Logie” has helped lead the Mustangs to 2 CIF semi-finals appearances and the first league title in school history. He currently resides in La Habra with his fiancée Cierra and their dog Sadie.”

PAT TELLERS - ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Tellers has been coaching varsity baseball for 36 years. He started coaching at Western High School (1988-1990) before becoming the Head Coach at Sonora High. He spent 28 years (1991-2018) at Sonora and accumulated a record of 481-296-8. His teams won 13 league championships and the 1995 Division II C.I.F. SS Championship. That same year he was named the C.I.F. SS Division II Coach of the Year. While at Sonora, his teams made the C.I.F. Playoffs 22 of the last 24 years and 19 years consecutively. In 2006 he was honored to be selected to the C.I.F SS Baseball Coaches Committee and has been selected as a coach for the North Orange County All Star team 5 times. He had been the Assistant Coach at La Serna High for the last 5 years (2019-2023) where he helped them win 3 league championships. He has been involved in over 600 victories at the varsity level. Coach Tellers played and graduated from Western High (1982). He went on to play at Cypress College (1983-1984) and then Long Beach State (1985-1986). After an eight months long try out with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1989, he was offered a contract only to see the opportunity fall though. He is in his 34th year teaching in the Fullerton Joint Union HS District and currently resides in Yorba Linda with his wife Traci. They have three children, Ashlyn, Madeline and Ryan.
